17th Century Hideaway

For a characterful, grade-II listed home nestled in a secluded wooded valley Armorel took inspiration from the idyllic natural surroundings and the historic values of the building to create a kitchen that radiates natural charm.
The clients had a clear vision for the space: traditional country cabinets with cockbead detail together with restored, painted nineteenth-century French and English furniture. The result comprises bespoke cabinets in solid oak, or painted in Gauze mid and light by The Little Greene Paint Company and reclaimed fossilised black granite worktops. These are expertly combined with a pair of corner cabinets sourced from France, a lovely bespoke copper sink and finally a stylish La Cornue range cooker.

"I would like to say how delighted we are with our kitchen. It all ran perfectly. Everyone at Armorel is very helpful and spent the time to discuss exactly what we wanted, you have a great team ... congratulations." - A.G. Cranleigh
