The owners of this pretty nineteenth-century terrace cottage wanted to retain the cosy feel of the kitchen, while blending old and new to create a gently modern, yet eclectic space.
Armorel answered this brief with a vintage glazed pine dresser, which it restored then repurposed as cabinets, and a row of new handmade cabinets painted in French Grey by the Little Greene Paint company. To this it added a traditional Belfast sink with a satin nickel bridge mixer tap, and chic Carrara marble worktops. The look is finished with monochrome Alhambra cement tiles, and parquet flooring reclaimed from the local village hall.
